Around 6:58 PM PDT, we were alerted to degraded performance from Groups, especially browsing groups via Church Center. Unoptimized queries to the database were causing delays in serving pages. We identified the slow performing queries and have deployed a mitigation to allow the site to perform optimally again. The site was slow from around 6:58 PM until around 8:09 PM PDT.
